Antique Bowtie Quilt
This quilt is pieced with 6 ˝ blocks, then sashed together with a light blue print with red flowers scattered on it. The corner blocks are medium blue. The Bowties are hand pieced using many different 30’s era fabrics.
These are not reproduction fabrics.
It is hand quilted in a traditional half circles pattern.
One side hem has been replaced with a flower print, and machine sewn on. There are 3 places needing repair. The quilt could be re-bound making it a usable quilt. There is no history included with this quilt.

Antique Lemoyne Star Quilt
This quilt includes a paper that had the previous owners name. The paper stated that this quilt was found in a windmill tank house, wrapped around a pitcher and bowl. The pitcher and Bowl says “CPC” and has a crown picture on the bottom. It was used to bathe a newborn baby born in 1917. PLEASE NOTE: The pitcher and bowl mentioned are not for sale, or were they included with the quilt.
The quilt is estimated to be 100 years old. The paper will be included with the quilt.
The stars are civil war blue and white, surrounded with a shirting fabric that would have been red at one time. The quilt is hand quilted. Backing material once had yellow flowers with leaves scattered on a white background. The flowers are barely visible. The hem has been replaced and machine sewn on. The quilt is hand pieced.

Antique Yo-Yo Quilt
This is a unique quilt because the yoyos have been fastened onto a quilt. The quilt is solid 30’s green on one side and 30’s yellow on the back. The quilt has a cotton batting. The yoyos are fastened to the quilt using French knots that go through to the back and serve to tie the quilt together. This top has a lot of feed sack materials in the yoyos. The yoyos have been placed in a figure 8 square pattern with yellow yo-yo’s serving as a sash between the squares. The yo-yo’s all have yellow hand made pom-poms in the center of them. Sorry, but there is no history included with this quilt.

Antique Wheel Quilt
This antique wheel was pieced and quilted by Mary Mercy. She lived from 1876 - 1963. There is a hand written history with photocopied pictures of the quilter that will be included with the quilt. She didn’t quilt this one herself as the history states. It also gives the cost of having it quilted and where it was done. The fabrics in this quilt are all originals. The backing is muslin. The edges are scalloped. The blocks are pieced octagons in a wheel pattern, giving the effect that they are circles. There are several fabrics breaking down with age.

Antique Dresden Plate Quilt
This wonderful quilt comes with family history and photocopied pictures of the maker. The quilt was made by Mary Mersey (“Malla Mo”) Moore Drexel. It is hand quilted. The blocks appeared to be sewn on a machine. The plates are outline quilted with a bow quilted in the muslin parts of the blocks. It has a cotton batting. There is one block that has had some harm done to it. It could be repaired. The backing is muslin. If requested I would send a typed copy of the history to interested persons. The Daughter of the Blue and White Anvil Quilts maker made this quilt.
