Mike Sanderson pieced this wonderful green and lavender quilt, using the floating block pattern. The center of the quilt is a beautiful panel of lavender colored flowers in a bouquet. The floating blocks that just make it such a showpiece then surround the panel. The quilt is machine quilted with swirling ribbons, lines, and swirl loops. The backing fabric is printed cotton with what looks like a small patchwork quilt.

Northern Animal Gathering King Size Machine Quilted Quilt
Northern Animal Gathering features a center mural of animals in the wild. Corresponding fabrics with wolves surround it. One of the borders is pieced using a tree pattern and squares of wolves. This is Mike Sanderson’s first finished quilt for the New Year 2012. It is so very colorful; it is like a fireworks show all by it’s self. This quilt uses a nine-patch design to bring out the lovely colors in this quilt. There are flowers floating all over the squares in this quilt. The backing fabric is a dark green with accented leaves. This quilt would be a wonderful addition to your home. It has been Machine quilted using a freestyle leaf pattern.

This quilt was pieces by Donna Brombeck. It has a wonderful display of whimsical flower blocks. She used many fabrics to achieve the beautiful combinations of blocks, paying close attention to the design of the fabrics. There are Birds, bugs and many other wonderful things hidden within These Flowers. This is a one of a kind quilt because many of the fabrics included in it are no longer available. It also comes with one pillowslip that if could be opened and redesigned to make two shams, because it was made double sided. But it is also beautiful as a single accent on the bed.

Mike Sanderson pieces horse country featuring a beautiful center panel of wild horses running across a prairie planes. The center is then surrounded by complimentary rail fence blocks using fabrics in tones of sage green, and browns.
