This charming quilt has the old fashion appeal of Straw hat Sam dressed in blue or red striped overalls with matching hat. The block in between is a 10-patch square with red and blue fabrics featuring old fashion school emblems of sports. The quilt has a poly fill batting. It has been machine quilted by stippling around the boys and in the plain squares. It has a large feather in the outside border. The backing fabric is medium blue cotton solid.

Elegant Stars Queen Size Machine Quilted Quilt
This quilt is a modern break away from the traditional whole cloth quilting. Whole cloth quilting features a single color fabric that was elaborately quilted with designs that would cover the entire fabric. Today’s modern whole cloth can be purchased printed with quilt designs featuring old fashion quilt patterns that would have been traditionally pieced. This quilt is Machine quilted to bring out the printed design of the stars on the cloth. At first glance this quilt looks like it has be pieced and is hard to tell that it has not. The backing fabric is a medium Gray solid that allows the quilting to show up on the back, bring out a wonderful star design on the back as well.

Rainbow Bargello Queen Size Machine Quilted Quilt
Wow what a spectacular quilt. This quilt is only missing the sun. The marbled fabric in this quilt just makes the colors sparkle. Mike Sanderson has out done himself with this quilt. His colors arrangement is perfect to bring out the wave in the rainbows. The backing fabric is a wonderful dark green print with leaves. Debra machine quilted this with an old fashion cloud pattern, which seemed to be fitting for the rainbow. As with all Quilts on this site, this is a one of a kind quilt. If he were to make another it would not be the same is some way.

Mike Sanderson pieced this rail fence. It features wonderful shades of lavender, burgundy red, green and tans. The lavenders in this quilt make it almost sparkle with color.
