Rail Fence Queen Size Machine Quilted Quilt
Mike Sanderson pieced this rail fence. It features wonderful shades of lavender, burgundy red, green and tans. The lavenders in this quilt make it almost sparkle with color. It has been machine quilted using a pattern often referred to as cotton candy. The backing fabric is a print which features many small blocks printed in such a way to look like a quilt. Horsing Around Twin Size Machine Quilted Quilt

Baltimore Full Size Machine Quilted Quilt
There is a tradition of whole cloth quilting where the quilting is what makes the beauty of the quilt because the quilt is all one color. However time does change some things a little and this quilt is a good example. The top is a print featuring prints of what would have been done by hand appliqué. There are no seams on the top. Debra has machine quilted it to bring out the printed designs giving it the look and feel of a old fashioned hand appliquéd Baltimore album quilt.
The backing is a burgundy red with gold print of what look like leaves. This is a very usable quilt and would also make a great gift.
